Family sponsorship
Bringing partners, children, parents, and grandparents to Canada.
Canadian citizens and permanent residents can sponsor certain family members. These applications turn on two things: the sponsor’s eligibility, and clear, genuine evidence of the relationship. Inland and outland routes carry different timelines and options.
Who can be sponsored
- Spouses and common-law or conjugal partners
- Dependent children
- Parents and grandparents (through the relevant program)
- Other relatives in specific, limited circumstances
How we help
- Confirming sponsor and applicant eligibility
- Building a persuasive record that the relationship is genuine
- Advising on inland vs. outland sponsorship and their trade-offs
- Managing the application end to end, including any open work permit
